As an innovative storage system, it makes optimum use of the available space and adapts dynamically to a wide variety of product geometries. Workpieces, semi-finished products or piece goods are efficiently organised in a block storage-like structure - without any unnecessary empty space. Even with batch size 1, the system ensures fast and reliable storage and retrieval. The intelligent Versastore® bots access the trays from above and transport the products to where they are needed: directly into production, to machines or to neighbouring systems. Workstations and conveyor technology can be connected on all sides of the warehouse - this shortens distances and optimises the material flow. The GEBHARDT Versastore® enables precisely this connection: Workpieces are not only stored but can also be integrated into the production process directly from the warehouse. This saves distances, reduces stock transfers and minimises sources of error. A central element is the developed load carrier - the tray. Compared to conventional containers, it is accessible from all four sides and is not limited in shape. This means that products of different sizes can be flexibly accommodated and loaded at variable heights.
