The GEBHARDT Software Summit 2024 provided valuable insights into the latest software solutions for the future. These examples highlighted how companies can digitalise and optimise their logistics processes. Additionally, the day included numerous networking opportunities with various partners. The day before the summit, participants could go behind the scenes at GEBHARDT’s production facility and meet the GEBHARDT motorsport team during an exclusive pre-show event.
On October 17, 2024, the first-ever GEBHARDT Software Summit took place at the Hotel Sinsheim, offering a wealth of exciting insights into the future of intralogistics. The day began with an inspiring keynote speech on the » Future of Intralogistics«, delivered by Robert Schulz, Director of the Institute of Materials Handling and Logistics (IFT), University of Stuttgart. The latest developments in GEBHARDT software solutions, such as robotic picking and sorting systems, were presented afterwards.
The presentation of GEBHARDT Galileo Insight was genuinely awe-inspiring. This cloud-based business intelligence solution helps companies achieve operational excellence. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to practical solutions. The software solutions "GEBHARDT StoreWare" and "ElseWare" demonstrated how innovative software can enhance efficiency and flexibility in intralogistics. Additionally, the fleet management software GEBHARDT Fusion Flow Control presentation provided insightful information about controlling robot swarms that will shape the future of material flow. A key highlight of the event was the presentations by 11teamsports and KW automotive. These presentations showcased how both companies have elevated their intralogistics using GEBHARDT software solutions. The success stories gave participants valuable insights into the practical application of innovative software solutions, ultimately enhancing efficiency and flexibility. In the exhibition area, the participants were able to see exciting exhibits, including the »SimplePick AI Robot« from Gridstore, as well as the »GEBHARDT KARIS®« automated guided vehicle system and »Herbie« from Carrybots.
The day came to a close with a networking session, where participants were able to exchange ideas with industry colleagues and partners such as simplan, SEW Eurodrive, Flexlog, Bito-Lagertechnik, Gridstore, Carrybots, Arotec, Lippert by GEBHARDT and the University of Stuttgart, Institute for Materials Handling and Logistics.
Exclusive pre-show event
On the day before the event, participants took a factory tour in Sinsheim and Dühren to gain exclusive insights into the GEBHARDT production halls. The day concluded with an exciting presentation by the GEBHARDT Motorsport Team, where participants had the opportunity to see the team's racing cars up close.
